Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Asheville Downtown Tunnel Road

Hotel lived up to expectations, especially considering the value. Friendly staff, rooms were clean and modern. No complaints at all.

We come here because it is reasonable for the price. Clean, safe well lit parking lot. All the amenities including breakfast. Comfortable beds, clean sheets and enough space to feel good. Only complaint was front desk agent wouldn't even bother to see if my room was ready 45 minutes early. I asked her to check and she stated that she wouldn't until 3 o'clock. I just wanted to get the check in process out of the way so I wouldn't have to do it at 9PM when we came back from our visit to Biltmore and dinner. One employee STRICTLY following company policy may be commendable but from a guest perspective she could have handled it better. The hotel was slow and the parking lot was empty. Great stay otherwise.

The room was very comfortable and really clean. The air didn't have a rattle and the black out curtains worked to perfection. The parking lot was very small and there is no signage on the road. I had to just take a leap of faith and follow my google maps and turn right at the Waffle House. The hotel is in back and to the left of the restaurant. The front desk attendant said it 'used' to work so maybe there was one and one time. Traveling as a single female I am a little hyper vigilant and the area was crawling with homeless and what looked to me as drug users or folks with a lot of phycological problems (yelling at the air and walking, type of issues). I always felt safe inside the facility though, so don't let that deter your stay here.

My husband had his back went out and we were in the emergency room from 1 to 5:30 . Had to have a ambulance come get him due to he could not move. I ask for a late check out to rest and we could only get a extra hour which I was a little disappointed.

The rooms are clean and the staff is efficient. The included breakfast is pretty standard for a hotel breakfast. My biggest negatives with the room are specific to the room I stayed in. It was a room very close to the ice machine and a side exit/entrance, so lots of noise throughout the night. Second, the shower didn't have an edge so the water got a bit outside the shower, and there wasn't a shelf to place shower products except the floor of the shower.

This hotel is very nice for the price I paid. The room and hotel were clean. The only negative experience I had was a domestic dispute keeping me up all night arguing in the hall, slamming and banging on the room door. When I called the front desk about the noise disturbance, I believe they called the room to inform them of the complaint but the occupants only remained quite for 30 to 60 minutes before going back to fighting/arguing in the hall, slamming the room doors and moving between rooms.

This hotel was very beautiful. The beds slept good! The hotel was nice and cleaned. Smells good! Hotel not far from everything. Great breakfast. I will definitely stay there again.

We typically stay at Choice Hotels and this location is by far one at the top of my list!!! First time staying at this location yet the first thing, after the convenience to the Interstate, is the obvious care and cleanliness for the entirety of the hotel, including parking lot, lobby and rooms. When we arrived, my husband got us checked-in and said the gentleman at the front desk, Colt, seemed super nice - a high compliment as he doesn't make comments like this often! When we had a question, he was quick to answer with a smile! Our son is on-Spectrum yet Colt didn't look twice at him, simply shared his kindness and understanding!!! Wish all hotels associates could be trained by this extraordinary young man - HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location!
